Everything is Talking

Everything has a voice. Everything is telling you something. Start paying attention to what your situations are telling you. What are your problems saying. What is the pile of dishes in the sink saying or the unfolded laundry.

Are the circumstances around you trying to tell you who you are and what your failures are?

Again, everything is talking and it is important for us to start paying attention to the voices that are robbing us of our peace, our joy, and our true identity.

If the voice isn't working for you, it is working against you and you are the only one who can determine the difference and do something about it.

Yes, you have the power to determine what you will listen to.

You have the power to determine what you will believe.

Belief is based on repetitive thoughts. If you think something for long enough you believe it and therefore it becomes your truth and you will live by it.

So, if your beliefs are not working for you then you can change them by changing your repetitive thoughts which happens by repeatedly listening to life giving beliefs.

Start listening to the voice of Gods word, positive podcast, encouraging blogs, worship music. Immerse yourself in the voices that build you up and motivate you rather than tear you down and discourage you.

It is your choice! Choice is power!

You can determine to pay attention to the voices you are listening to and shut down the ones that are not working for you. Negative reinforcement does not produce anything positive. You cannot create a positive from a negative.

Fill your life with positive and you will begin to produce positive things.

Silence all the negative voices and you will have the energy to listen and respond to the voices that will work for you to produce the life you want.

One way to tell it is a negative, life zapping voice is, if it starts with: You should; what if; last time; or that's too hard. Another way to tell is if it robs you of your peace or your joy. Does the voice make you feel hopeless or overwhelmed? These are all signs that the voice is not working for you.

Decide today to only listen to the voices that are working for you. Meaning, they are helping you build the life you want. Stop the old recorder that tells you- you cant and replace it with a new tune that says all things are possible through Christ who gives me strength (Matthew 19:26; Mark 9:23; Mark 10:27; Luke 18:27; Isaiah 40:29).

Immerse yourself in voices that empower you to change the recorder in your head until it only plays the truth of what God says is possible and who He says you are.

Your life is full of possibilities and you are unstoppable once you truly believe His voice over every other voice.

No longer listen to the voice of circumstances, situations, problems, past disappointment or failures. They are not speaking solutions. Solutions come from life giving words.

God's word tell us that life and death are in the power of the tongue therefore you have the power to receive life by what you listen to. But, you can also receive death by what you listen to (Proverbs 18:21).
